This one-of-a-kind piece bears the lines and profile of an old time coffin handle bowie knife, but with upgraded 21st century handle scales. The 5.75” blade bears a fine convex grind, great for cutting and biting deeply into material, while the high point ensures excellent penetration, as more edge will engage your cutting medium. Add a fine taper to the point, and you’ll find this bowie knife is likely one of the best piercers in your inventory. A functional run of jimping running across the stout 3/16” spine allows a nice ramp for the thumb to rest on, and the decorative jimping along the tang add some nice finishing touches to this functional, durable, modern day bowie knife.

The Red Tail Tactical rides in an Olive Drab kydex sheath, and comes with a custom fit canted appendix mounting strap, allowing the knife to ride on your centerline, with at a slight angle, making it easy to pull into action, with either hand, in moment’s notice.
